Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Holistica (“we”) collects when you use holistica.space, why, and what you can do about it. It’s written to meet India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

• Nothing you type into the site. There are no accounts, and you don’t need to give us anything to browse or apply. The email-alert form isn’t live yet and doesn’t send anything.
• Emails you send us. If you email foc25@proton.me, we keep your message and email address to reply to you.
• Technical logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address, browser type and the pages you request to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t use these logs to identify you.
• Advertising data. Google collects data through cookies to show ads (see below).
• Employer payment details. If an employer pays to feature a role, we keep their name, email, company and payment ID for invoicing and accounting. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment provider, Razorpay, and never reach us.

How we use it

• To run the site, keep it secure and fix problems.
• To reply to your emails and handle featured listings, payments and refunds.
• To show ads that pay for the site.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

We don’t sell your personal data, and we never pass job seekers’ details to employers.

Cookies and analytics

We don’t set any cookies of our own and we don’t use a separate analytics service. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from bots.

Advertising (Google AdSense and third-party cookies)

We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure how ads perform.

Payments

Payments for featured listings are processed by Razorpay, which handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. We only receive confirmation of the payment and the details needed for an invoice.

Other websites

When you click Apply, you leave our site for the company’s careers page. Anything you submit there is handled by that company under its own privacy policy, not ours.

Who we share data with

• Cloudflare (hosting and security) and Supabase (database for job listings).
• Google (advertising).
• Razorpay (payments, for employers who feature a role).
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside India, under their own safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep emails for as long as we need to deal with your request, and payment records for as long as Indian tax law requires. Hosting logs are kept by Cloudflare for a short period under its own policy.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw any consent you’ve given. Email foc25@proton.me and we’ll reply within 2 business days. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

The site isn’t meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
